is a watercolor collection of patterns for fabrics and other surfaces inspired by The Secret Garden - a book and film from 1993 that influenced me for several years. I spent time in the backyard garden in the company of a flimsy rose bush, and in my imagination I was the one who was supposed to take care of it. Time flowed simply, carefree and was a mystery in the somewhat wild vegetation.
I composed each pattern with little and big girls in mind, who like to lie on the grass and walk in romantic gardens.
